Pocahontas County Democrat Margene Bunda won the race for county auditor with 2682 votes. Challenger Ann Harrison, an independent, received 1005 votes. There were also 17 write-ins.
Rolfe Democrat Jeff Ives won an open seat on the board of supervisors after Republican Jack DeWall retired. Ives beat Robert Brinkman 409-346, while three voters wrote in other candidates.
Pocahontas Democrat Ed Dewey was re-elected to the board of supervisors without opposition.
Sheriff candidate Pat Sheda lost to incumbent Robert Lampe 2753-1221. There were also four write-in votes.
